Computer forensics
Bio Forensics RC, thanks to appropriate partnerships, is able to offer assistance to the citizen in the field of computer forensics. This is a science that is part of ‘digital forensics ’. It mainly deals with analyzing the data stored in digital devices, according to a process that includes both the simple recovery of the data and the chronological reconstruction of the activities inherent to the analyzed device. Forensic computer investigations can also be useful in ’ in civil trials as it is able to provide relevant evidence, provided that the information presented during the proceedings is admissible, authentic and obtained in a legal manner. In this case, we speak of ‘ digital evidence ’ for the use of computerized evidence for criminal proceedings and for out-of-court proceedings.
