Bio Forensics Research Center, in collaboration with The European Society for Forensic Science – Eu.S.F.S., is organizing the Spring Workshop on Forensic Science: Biology, Genetics & Law.

 

 

The workshop will be held from April 18th to 20th, 2023 on the island of Ischia, Italy & online. The three-day event will provide hands-on training in several peculiar areas to forensic sciences. It will feature world-class speakers, including Prof. Robert Green (Kent University, UK), Prof. Orlando Paciello (University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy), Prof. Giuseppe Di Genio (University of Salerno, Italy), Prof. Denise Gemmellaro (Kean University, USA), Dr. Elizaveta A. Gromova (South Ural State University, Russia), Dr. Paola Montagna (former Director of Forensic Genetics Section at the Italian Scientific Police), Dr. Niteesh Kumar Upadhyay (Galgotias University, India), Dr. Pavlos Kipouras (South Ural State University, Russia), Dott.ssa Luisa Vitiello (University of Salerno, Italy) and Dott. Eugenio D’Orio (Bio Forensics Research Center, Italy).

 

The workshop sessions aim to address the most modern challenge issues on Forensic Biology Examination, Forensic Genetics, Quality standards in Forensics, CSI management, ISO 17024 standards for the specialized activities at the crime scene, Forensic Veterinary Pathology and peculiar Laws aspects related to the Forensic Science. Constant lecturer-learner interaction will be the key-point on which this workshop is based. In addition, will be held a session dedicated to the presentations of experimental work by the researchers/students who will speak.
